I spent nine years playing with Grassahol, in Columbus, Ohio, playing acoustic American roots music including bluegrass, blues, Americana and folk. Loved the harmonies of voices, instruments and personalities.

Greater Columbus Arts Council

Swing Therapy
Swing Therapy brings musical entertainment to residents of assisted living communities. Music from the 1930s and 1940s--the swing era--communicated with feeling–these great songs of the Great American Songbook.
Brooks Brothers
American Jazz music from the swing era and classics from the decades that followed. Scott and Ray Brooks are The Brooks Brothers (duo, trio or quartet) combines singing and jazz stylings to create a show to remember.
Bethlehem on Broad Street
On Christmas Day, the volunteers at Bethlehem on Broad Street feed up to 1,000 needy folks at the First Congregationalist Church, downtown Columbus. I have the pleasure of producing the music program in the dinning room each year.

Ohio Arts Council
Ever wonder how the State of Ohio funds the arts? It is done through programs such as Arts Access, where I've served as a panelist, reviewing grant applications and recommending arts funding for the many, many outstanding arts projects of merit throughout the state.
